Town Hall Auditorium Project
SOUND REINFORCEMENT UPGRADE
INTRODUCTION and BACKGROUND
PURPOSE OF THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
The Town of Belmont is issuing an RFP for parties interested in participating in the
installation of sound reinforcement components to the Town Hall Auditorium, located at
445 Concord Ave.
Belmont Media Center will review applicant proposals and forward recommendations
to Building Services Manager for the Town of Belmont who will then forward materials to
the Town who will make the final vendor award.
The work includes installation of sound equipment in the Auditorium as laid out in the scope of
work generated by the Belmont Media Center.
Specifications prepared by the Town’s architect, may be obtained at the Building Services
Department, Homer Municipal Building, 19 Moore Street, Belmont, MA, 02478 after 10:00 AM
on Thursday, March 4, 2010. Specifications may also be sent electronically upon request. For

The Town reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole, or in part, any or all written responses
or take whatever other action may be deemed necessary to be in the best interest of the Town.
