Pool Rules and Regulations
 AdmissionEveryone entering the pool area, including non swimmers must present a tag OR day pass to the attendant.
Skill Level
Children must pass a skills test before being permitted into the deep end of the pool. After passing the test their membership tag will be stamped. Parents are not permitted to take the children into the deep end unless they have passed this test. Skill checks are given at 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and at 10:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
General Information
• Lockers are available for use. Patrons should provide their own lock and remove belongings on a daily basis.
• Food, beverages and gum chewing are not allowed in the pool area. Spring water is available for your refreshment, but please use the cups provided and do not fill your own water bottles.
• Children aged 7 and under must always be accompanied by an adult.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited.
• Running is not permitted around the pool area.
• Showers must be taken before entering the pool.
• No hairpins or clips allowed in the pool.
• Persons with bandages, skin disease, or open sores will not be permitted in the pool.
• Proper swim attire must be worn (no shorts or cut-offs)
• Infants must wear rubber pants over any type of diaper. Swim Diapers alone are not acceptale. All infants/toddlers must wear a bathing suit.
Rubber pants are available at the pool for sale. $3.00 per pair
• Floatation devices, snorkels, masks and fins are prohibited.
Diving
• Diving is not allowed from the sides of the pool.
• Only one person on the diving board at a time.
• Diving is permitted from the front of the board only.
• Dive only when it is clear to do so.
Failure to comply with any of the Recreation Department rules will result in expulsion from the pool and may result in revocation of membership privileges. The Recreation Department will make every effort to adhere to the published schedule. We cannot be responsible for closings due to Health Department regulations, flooding, storms or mechanical breakdowns.
Membership fees are not refundable.
