The Highway Division is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the sanitary sewer and storm drain systems. This includes main and service lines on both public and private ways. If you have any questions or require service, contact the Highway Division Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at 617-993-2690. For emergency service during evenings, weekends and holidays, call the Communications Center number at 617-993-2501.
Sanitary sewer fees are based on 100% of metered water consumption and are set annually by the Board of Selectmen. The current rate is $9.26 per 100 cubic feet of water and there is a minimum $6.45 service charge per quarter. Billing is through the Water Division office and billing questions should be directed to that office Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at 617-993-2700.
