Meeting Minutes
September 18, 2007
The meeting convened at 5:30 pm at the office of Belmont Cemetery.
Members present: Ellen O'Brien Cushman, Alexander Corbett, Charles Johnson, and Karen Pressey.
Also present: Peter Castanino
The committee approved the following Minutes:

On separate motions by Alex Corbett, seconded by Charles Johnson the committee approved these Minutes. Karen Pressey abstained because she did not attend these meetings.
The committee reviewed and voted to approve payment of Invoice # 10 for the period ending May 10, 2007 from Green Acres for $87,933.35
The Grand Opening is scheduled for October 20, 2007. Alex is working on the invitation. Ellen will follow up on speakers for the occasion.
The committee discussed the merits of treating for crab grass now and reseeding or seeding only now and treating crab grass in the Spring. Peter Castanino will check with Pudge.
Ellen will follow up with Chuck regarding plant count and replacement work to determine which plants can be replaced now and which will wait until Spring.
Ellen will reply to request by family member requesting the planting of a tree near site of Father's grave.
Ellen reported that 30 internments have now taken place.
The Committee discussed signage stating rules for the cemetery. Peter Castanino will follow up.
On a motion by Charlie Johnson, seconded by Alex Corbett, the Committee voted unanimously to adjourn at 6:38 PM.
