Certain types of businesses require a license in order to operate within the Town of Belmont. These licenses are issued per vote of the Board of Selectmen, however the applications are obtained and filed at the office of the Town Clerk.
Businesses requiring licenses:
Valid: January 1st through December 31st for one year period
Automobile Sales - Class I (New) & Class II (Second-Hand)
Common Victualler
Livery Services
Movie Theater
Valid: May 1st through April 30 for one year period
Antiques
Auctioneer (One day and annual)
Lodging House
Junk
Taxi
