The Electricity Supply Study Committee was established by a vote adopted under Article 31 at the 2003 Annual Town Meeting. Under that vote, the Town Meeting Members, pursuant to Chapter 164, Section 47A(f) of the General Laws, authorized the Town Moderator to appoint a committee for the purpose of conducting a study, holding public hearings, and making recommendations relative to competitive choice of generation supply for the customers of the Town's municipal lighting plant.
