The town accountant and staff pay all town bills and prepares and keeps the town's financial records. The accountant also works as the liaison to the the Warrant Committee and Capital Budget Committee. The accountant works with the Town Administrator and Board of Selectmen in preparing the town budget. The accountant is appointed by the selectmen for renewable, three-year terms and receives a salary.
